Books to complement learning

Okay, since on another thread, we found this great nursing book club, I am wondering what books out there are best to complement learning in the RN program? I will be starting my first semester in the fall, so I am looking for books that would help me in my first year. I was wondering about dosage calculation books...are these a good idea? This is where I fear I will be the weakest.

Okay, so please...send me ideas!

Specializes in Urgent Care.

I ordered 2 anatomy coloring books off Amazon.com. They were under 10 dollars.

Specializes in Emergency & Trauma/Adult ICU.

I got mine at either Walden's or B&N - can't remember which one. It's The Princeton Review Anatomy Coloring Workbook, 2nd ed.

My 10-year old daughter can now explain more about the A&P of most body systems than your average adult. :chuckle
