Nursing Students General Students

Hi all! I applied to the 2015 nursing program at Aurors university. Want to see what other applicants GPA and TEAS V score was? Seen another forum like this and it was helpful! Hope the best to everyone!

I received a 72 on the TEAS and have a 3.76 GPA. Waiting till MARCH to find out if I get in is killing me.

With a Teas score of 72 and a GPA of 3.76, you shouldn't have any problems getting in.

I hope so, did you apply to the program too?

Yes, a couple years ago. Graduating in May.

Congratulations! That is exciting! It must feel good to be almost finished. If you don't mind me asking... What was your GPA and TEAS score when you got accepted?

My GPA was 3.85 and the TEAS was 70. I know others with a lower GPA that got in. Plus they have also expanded the program to allow more students in which helps.

Wow you had a great GPA! Is it hard

to keep up your gpa in nursing school? Wondering because I looked into schools with DNP programs and if you have a 3.5 you don't have to take the GRE. Just food for thought, I've got awhile before even worrying about that :)

I am not going to lie. Nursing school is hard work. It is different then your gen eds that you would study for. The grading scale is higher than the regular grading scale. So yes, it is hard to maintain your GPA. My GPA is no where near what it used to be. But on the other hand it's achievable.

All Nursing schools are this way. Aurora is a great school.

Who all got in for this Fall?!

I am a current student at Aurora University applying for the nursing program for fall of 2015. I received an 84 on my TEAS and I have a 3.9 GPA, so I'm not terribly worried about acceptance. I do know though that they expanded the program, and I heard that they were accepting a TEAS test of a 64 and higher. The acceptance letters are supposed to be out this week, can't wait any longer!

Hello! I was accepted to Aurora's program for Fall 2015. I received an 86% on my TEAS and I'm not sure what my exact GPA is because I have attended two schools with credits that transferred in. If it was averaged my GPA is around a 3.5 . I look forward to beginning the program!
