They still have some available? I applied in March of this year, met all the qualifications, and I got a letter about a month ago saying there was not enough funding so I got passed over- I don't even understand that. 40% of scholarships were to go to BSN students which I am, my packet was complete, but I didn't get one? Do I need to call someone, lol?

It looks like they all had to be turned in earlier in the year...oh well!

I should have added that most likely there is nothing available now -- apply next year asap. LOL. Sorry!

If you aren't already aware, the State of IL is having some budget issues, and I'm sure nursing education isn't one of their top priorities (there's even been back and forth talk of all state employees not being issued paychecks for time they've already worked -- my boyfriend being one of them -- how crappy!). But, apply next year!
