Does anyone have any idea what the national average composite score is for the Fundamentals ATI? I just started fundamentals and took the test and got a 71% composite score (missed some stuff we haven't covered in class yet) and was wondering if that was near the average or not.

I had to take it in December, and the national average was 67.9%. So, I would think that it would be pretty similar to that now. You can check your ATI score online, and it will show you the national average when it shows your score. Just go to http://www.atitesting.com > check my results > RN Fundamentals for Nursing. It will then generate a report that will show you all of that information.

The online practice tests don't give you the national averages. Those are only available on the proctored exams. Depending on the subject, the national averages range between 66.9-71%. Our program requires that we get a 72% to get level 2 (proficient and exceeding the minimum performance for the content area).

All of my ATI test scores are online, proctored and unproctored practice tests. I just looked at mine for all semesters. The practice tests scores are on there, but double check to make sure that they didn't put your regular test scores on there as well. Our test scores are mixed in with the practice tests. they are not on a different link. Look to see if you have any that don't have "online practice" at the end of them. I would be really surprised if you all were not able to see your results online. If they are not there, ask your professor to talk to the people at ATI to see if they will post them on there with your other tests. Here is a partial list of mine. Notice how the tests are mixed in with the practice test. Sometimes they are hard to spot.

Once you click on the test, the national mean should be listed beneath your score as well as your program mean. Hope this helps.

Heloisa3,

You get the national percentiles on your online practice tests as well? On my online practice tests, I only get my individual percentage score. But on the proctored exams we take, I get my percentage correct, my ATI proficiency level, the mean national percentage, the mean percentage for my program, and then my percentile ranking compared to both the national and my program. For example, my peds result had the following:

Individual Score: XX.X%

ATI Proficiency Level: Level X

Mean - National: 70.1%

Mean - Program: 70.4%

Percentile Rank - National: XX

Percentile Rank - Program: XX

Does anyone have any idea what the national average composite score is for the Fundamentals ATI? I just started fundamentals and took the test and got a 71% composite score (missed some stuff we haven't covered in class yet) and was wondering if that was near the average or not.

No, I don't get national averages for the practice tests. The OP didn't specify that she was talking about a practice test. She said that she had taken her Fundamentals ATI, not the online practice tests. I was referring to the regular test. Maybe I missed something along the way.

Yes, I get the same thing as you do.
