im doing my placement in a nurseing home, my assessment sheet includes a diary that must be compleated each day.

description of personal and interpersonal qualities observed,

descripition of coping strategies used by a carer,

description of health and safety procedures,

observation of caring procedures with a specific client group,

recording of personal feelings and reactions to your work observation.

Hi Carra,

Do you mean you need to make notations on "your" personal and interpersonal qualities. ie. these qualities that pertain to you?

If so, then "personal" would be qualities that you discover about your self. ie. That you can remain calm under pressure, that you exhibited a lot of patience in dealing with a difficult situation, etc.

"Interpersonal" would be qualities you discover in dealing with other people. ie. you found that you could work well with another student or perceptor, or in explaining a problem to another student or perceptor you were able to effectively communicate what the problem was.

Personal would be qualities about yourself and Interpersonal are qualities that you discover or have in dealing with the people around you, whether they be instructors, staff, students or patients.

I think this is what your question is getting at. Hope this helps.
