Anyone go to out of state schools?

Hi, my name is Kristen and I am new here. I was just wondering if any of you have went to an out of state school for convenience issues even though it is more expensive? I live in West Virginia and I have a regional branch of Kent State 5 minutes from my house and another Kent State branch 35 minutes from my house. I go to an in state school with much cheaper tuition but it is an hour drive from my house. An hour and a half travel time if I take my daughter to a babysitter that I pay for. I am wondering if anyone has an opinion on this or if they have had this dilemma and what did you do? Also, did you pay for what financial aid didn't cover? Did you work or find other financial aid sources? Any advice would be appreciated.
