Another Heparin question

Does Heparin usually come in single dose vials; premixed? I think this heparin thing will be my biggest problem. I got messed up with the nomogram this week...ugg.

We have multi dose which was labeled in bright red and single dose. The multi doses were kept in the med room and not on the med cart to prevent a mix up.

Here is my next question. If you draw up heparin do you mix it with anything?

#2 Is heparin measured in units per ML. I have read my heparin cards and all I get is confused.
