Hi everyone... I was just wondering if anyone has applied for HRSA Nursing Scholarship program? If so, have you heard anything? :) I applied and per their website, selected applicants will be notified by 8/31. I have not heard anything yet and I'm getting very anxious. :uhoh21: I applied last year and unfortunately didn't receive it, but they did run my credit which is supposed to be a good sign. (per the last year's discussion) I've been checking my credit for an inquiry for the 2012-2013 cycle...but nothing yet. Good luck to all that applied!!

I applied and haven't heard anything yet either. There was an unknown inquiry on my credit report on July 17 but I'm not sure if it was them or not. It didn't say HRSA or US Goverment or anything, it was just initials.

I'd be interested to know when people start getting notifications as well.

There is an inquiry on my credit report from 7/16/12. It is from CBCINNOVIS. I Googled the name and found it is a company that does credit checks, etc for businesses. I don't know if they are a contractor for HRSA or not. Anyone else have this on their report?

Do you guys know what they are looking for when they check for credit history? My credit is not so good (previous credit cards) and now I'm starting to panic about my chance for HRSA.

They are looking for defaults on federeal loans or having any owed federal debts such as taxes owed and defaults on federal loans. I'm in the same boat,not so good credit, but they aren't looking at the things we are concerned with.
