$$ Required physical for 1st year nursing students..$$

I just had my physical done and had my labs drawn this morning. My Dr. told me that my insurance probably won't pay for this and I will have to foot the bill!! :eek: I asked her to please bill my insurance anyway because I'm going to at least try and get them to pay. Does anyone else have this problem??

The $$$$$$ for nursing school is really starting to add up!!

For those without insurance, have you tried your school? My school offers low-cost health insurance for its students. Just an idea!!

Yeah, I'm purchasing my school policy for the fall. However, the thing about these policies (at least the one at my school) is that if you're an older student (i.e. over 25) the price jumps up pretty high. Not really much cheaper than getting insurance through a private company.

At least there's financial aid... :)
