Come join me in the daily howdees here!
How is everyone doing in their studies? What is driving you nuts about school and what do you love?
Yesterday was dd's 11th bday but we celebrated the day before! The younger two kids in our household had their first night of choir last night, which they totally loved!
Have a great day!

My program starts on Monday. I am going to drive to our schools new location today to get an idea of how long it will take me to drive 15 miles in rush hour traffic here on LI.
I couldn't even begin to express how nervous I am. Butterflies and all. I haven't been this scared since my wedding and that went pretty good Hee Hee.
You seem to be doing good.... so glad to know others are juggling okay.

I am not sure how well I'm juggling because I think I'm dropping a few things at home and some of the camp work I was supposed to finish up (summer job that never quits) but .. I am just trying to keep up with A&P and my other courses. Every so often I have to push a panicky feeling down (like yesterday in Human Growth and Development when I realized I was all off -- and behind -- in my reading) but I think it will be okay!
Have fun on your "driving tour" today and I'll be thinking about you on Monday!

Studies? Hehehe, what studies??? I'm just kidding, 'cause I'm spending several hours a day on studying - aside from class time - and I only have 2 classes!
I'm taking A&P I this semester, along with Sociology of the Family. Soc is such an easy class though... only three tests, and 4 weeks into classes, the teacher hasn't gotten through chapter two. All we do is sit around and talk... I love classes like that, especially when I have a class as intensive as A&P!! I'm loving A&P though... lots to learn, and its definetly interesting! I got an A on my first A&P test, so I'm feeling pretty good about it... and I love looking at things through the microscope. On Tuesday morning we made wet mounts of cells from the inside of our cheek... it was soooo cool to look at the little cells and know that they are MY cells! That is what makes ME... of course, I saw some remains of breakfast too... that was NOT so cool! :rotfl:
Hope everyone is having a wonderful day, and good luck to us all in our studies! How many of us are working full time while going to school part time? I for one have been working 50+ hours a week on top of school... thank God I don't have any kids or I really would be pulling my hair out!

It is going alright so far. I have 3 hours of lecture a week and 7.5 hrs of lab....plus TONS of reading and videos to watch....and I am taking chem since my chem didn't transfer and an online med term class (just to be fulltime) It is just so hard to keep up on everything but...I do really enjoy practicing things in the skills lab and I can't wait to start clinicals!!
