If you can, try to get your books used or even older editions, you'll save big bucks. I learned this the hard way, but the info does not change that much from edition to edition. I have been using a med-surg text for two semesters that lists for $90 and I found an older edition on http://www.amazon.com which is about four years old for $8.00 and I'm getting through the course fine with it.
