ok.........educate me.......I went in to have an anterior cervical fusion with an allograft.On my Xrays it shows the neurosurgeon opted for a radiopaque spacer instead.I understand a radiopaque spacer is kinda like a polymer synthetic type plastic gizmo..........why would he use that?Everything I have read on them is that they are not even FDA approved and I have learned that the hospital that I had surgery in is some kinda clinical testing center for such devices.what do you guys know about the safety of these things?I ask because I am not exactly recovering perfectly to say the least.
