Suggestions for volunteer opportunities

What opportunities are there for volunteering as a nurse, once I graduate next year? I have participated in a medical mission, but what I'm trying to get information on is more of volunteering nursing opportunities here in the US. I believe that the American Red Cross can use nurses as volunteers, but what are some other ideas?
