SARS in Alaska

One of our nurses husband who works at the local hospital told us they have a case of SARS here. The patient's wife had family who was visiting from Korea and brought the bug over. Docors here thought he had pneumonia but then he started getting worse. A lot of people were exposed until he was diagnosed...SCARY. We have no real plan to deal with something like that here where I work. We don't even have masks for TB exposure. Every little cough gets you worried esp up here where we are stuck inside together for 8 months at a time.

Wow, how come no TB masks, I would think that would be a regulatory fine, OSHA should know about that.
