RN-to-BSN online bridge programs

Have any of the diploma- or AD-prepared nurses here considered or gone through an online bridge program? I'm doing research on them, and I wanted to get some opinions.

I know that the two major differences between the BSN program and others are 1) theory and 2) community practice. Do you feel that these aspects of the BSN can be effectively taught in a distance learning format?

If you've been through a program... Do you think the lessons were comparable to classroom instruction? Were you comfortable with the sufficiency of the curriculum?

If you've considered such an education but decided against it, what deterred you? Was it cost? Reputation? Confidence in the method of material delivery?
