I don't know about everywhere else but with the type of day that I had, I think it is about time to rename our telemetry floor the intermediate unit. The intermediate unit CCU and the CCU the
'patients barely have a pulse unit'. I did my internship two years ago on the intermediate side and the types of patients that we were getting on that side are the type that our unit has accustomed to. I feel bad for the "subacute" units on outlying facilities that are getting our telemetry, neuro, pulmonary patients now. What does everyone else think?
