Regents College/College Network

Nurses General Nursing

Has anyone completed the Regents BSN program using another external resource, such as the College Network? Any opinions/comments? I'm looking into the program. Thanks in advance.

I am currently enrolled in the

Reagent Program. I work second shift

and am required to have a flexible

schedule because of being a clinical

manager, so I appreciate the

flexibility of the program. Good

Luck on your endeavors.

I too am looking into Regents BSN. I will graduate from an ADN program this sping, and I want to continue into my BSN right away. I am wondering about some thinks like the potfolio option for the Clinical Performance. What will be required to take that option and what exactly is involved in preparing the portfolio. Also will I have an advantage by being fresh out of school? That is, how much study beyond the ADN level will I have to do to average a B or better on the exams. I figure most everything will be fresh for me, as opposed to woring for a for a few years in a speciality and then forgetting the stuff I don't use.

Nancy,

The web site for Regents College is www.regents.edu They offer ASNs, BSNs, and MSNs. I think the MSN in in Nursing Administration, but I'm not positive.

Whenever you look into ANY nursing program, ALWAYS check out their accreditations!! I may be incorrect, but it is my understanding that Regent's Master's program is NOT accredited. In looking at their site, only the ADN and BSN programs are NLN-accredited. In the past, I have been strongly advised by a number of NP's to avoid any terminal program that is NOT NLN-accredited. This will be important to any student even considering furthering their education beyond a BSN. Just check the school's accreditations!! Good luck ~!~

Does anyone have a website address for Regents and do they have a Master's program?

Would appreciate and info!
