I'm getting ready to start my second semester of the RN program. I'm curious as to what resources y'all find helpful with clinical and classroom studies. I love pocket guides! I'm a tactile kinesthetic learner so the pocket guides make it easy for me to learn and read while at clinical. So, what are some awesome resources I am missing? We're starting fluid &a lytes and med surg. I've bought f&e made incredibly easy and hope it helps!

I liked PDQ RN. It's spiral bound with a plastic spiral and the pages are plastic (or plastic-like). It's indestructible, "washable" and fits in a scrub pocket, although it is thick and a little bulky. It has plenty of detailed information on frequently used subjects, but it's not over-loaded with obscure topics like some references. I didn't discover it until my pediatrics rotation, but it would have been extremely useful in med/surg!!

Thank you! I'm looking into it now. It sounds like something I'd like!

I use some laminated nursing cards. Here is the link.
