opinions on NP vs. PA

I actually have a long time to think about this since I am hoping to start an ADN program in January. After I graduate, I will be finishing my BSN with an RN to BSN program. I was just looking for opinions and thoughts on the differences between NP and PA though. Are there big differences in responsibilites, pay, job availability, etc.? If any of you have worked as either of these 2 careers, are you happy with your choice? Would you do it different if you could go back in time? if you work with people who do these jobs, what are your observations? Your opinions and thoughts on these questions as well as any other pertinent information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

One of the major differences is PAs work under a physician's license. NPs work under their own.

I know a couple of PAs who went back to get a BSN.
