Once upon a time . . .

Nurses General Nursing

Published

once upon a time there were metal bed pans, green soap and WARDS. And the floors were filled with sunshine and WE worked as a team.

Then the union fearing moguls got worried, so they first came up with "TOTAL CARE," the halls became dark, there was very little traffic on the floor as nurses were segregated by being IN PATIENTS ROOMS.

Next came the glorious "3 12s & get paid for 40.

Then came the mandatory 4 12's and an 8.

Now they are in a jam and trying to go back somewhere between the old and new and cannot do it.

I predict Nursing will become "Militant" that is birthing will be afforded nurses like it is for residents (naturally presented as a benefit.)

Good luck my younger peers.
