    Hi

    Please, someone can tell me about nurse shadowing in Bay Area, CA?
    I worked 10 years in Europe and I'm so curious to see the american hospitals.
    I tried as volunteer but I received only information desk, so I didn't see anything!

    It is hard to be allowed to shadow unless you are being seriously considered for a position with a particular hospital. People are way too stressed and short-handed here. However, I do heavily recommend shadowing!!!! IF you are in contention for a position. I recently shadowed for a position and turned it down, it was a real trainwreck. I am so glad I was able to see this "train" falling off the tracks!

    O, wow! Where was that? What dept.? What hospital?
    So, if I don't have a possible position, I can't have this opportunity?
