Nursing pay

I'm in my last semester of RN school. I was just wondering if you guys could tell me what the starting pay is at the Hospitals you work for. I may move to a different state to work and I want to know who pays the most. Thanks

Hi. I work in Northern Arkansas and started as a new grad at around $13/hr. I have been there about 16 months and now make around $17/hr with night diff. While this is not great pay in some eyes, I am happy because I love the Ozarks and the people, the cost of living is cheap, and living somewhere good to raise kids is a must. Don't settle for the highest paying place without checking the area out. I gave up money to move here, but when your kids or yourself can't go somewhere without worrying about being a victim of crime, it may not be worth all that money. You can't put a price on peace of mind.
