New to MECP

Hello Everyone,

I am currently an Active duty member seeking help through the process of the MECP program, here at my command I tend to run into a lot of people who hasn't been through the program or just don't know how to guide or help me through this process.

Currently I am doing this package by myself and I have A LOT of unanswered questions and confusion on my end. I am just a E-4 with a heart full of motivation to do better for my career and in the navy itself! So any help I can get would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome to allnurses! I have moved your post to the government/military forum to encourage responses. Good luck with your MECP application! Have you looked for Facebook groups to join? I know that there was a very active one for the Army's program (AECP). Maybe there is one for MECP as well.

Hello,

Congrats on your selection for FY19! I am planning to apply for FY20. I am stationed currently at a really small clinic in which no one had heard of MECP until I brought it up. I have been reviewing the instruction and am currently taking classes in the evenings but have little knowledge on the next steps. Could I pick your brain Jmm1990 on the necessary paperwork and steps to take?

I'm an HM as well and im currently looking into applying to the program. Can anyone give me any pointers for making my package stronger?

Congrats on your selection I am looking forward to applying for FY20 as well. I was just wondering could I pick your brain to see what might have helped your package get picked.

I cannot currently PM anyone but I am submitting a package this year as well. I was wondering I needed all my pre reqs done prior to submission of I have a provisional letter from the school. I read the navadmin and it sounds that is ok but it wasn't a clear cut statement to me at least.
