Is it Fort MacMurry Albreta Canada?? If thats the same Fort McMurray you are talking about then I can tell you a little bit about the place. The weather is very cold in winter, I never been there but I know people who worked there. I also lived in Edmonton which is about 435 km from Fort MacMurry. You will be part of UNA, Alberta Association of Registered Nurses. You should try this website www.fortmcmurraytourism.com to find out about the place. You can also try Gov of Alberta website.

Good Luck, I hope you enjoy in Canada:)

Also its not too remote, its booming because of oil. Alberta is really very good place to live and work. After your contract you can always relocate to the cities like Edmonton and Calgary. Alberta nurses also get paid higher than the other part of Canada. Living expenses is not that costly. You just have to put up with the cold winter:)
