is the rn program associates or bachelors? that could make a significant difference in the amount schooling. in my area, lpn school is 1 year and rn (associates) is 2 years. many of the lpns that i have talked to, didn't realize that it would only take 1 more year to get their rn. now that they are done with school they are having a hard time going back and many say they wish they would have done the 2 year rn program. good luck with your decisions and welcome to nursing!!
Wow, thanks for responding so quickly! The RN program is an ADN program which takes two years full time and about 3-1/2 to 4 if you can attend school half time. Thanks for the advice though; it's good to know from someone who's been around the situation!
