Hey guys!!

Im a new grad, an RN and am working on my bachelors degree.

I just got my first RN job! (Whoohoo) well technically, I got 2 jobs. I have one part time position with an in-home care company. And the second one is part time as well- it's at an assisted living facility and I'll be working directly under a DON- which is a great opportunity because I want to be a DON one day!

Anyways, my need for advice comes from this:

my job with the in-home care business requires me to come into the office 2 days a week and then I'm out at clients houses doing my assessments and stuff either after I leave the office or other days of the week. I'm literally my own supervisor- I choose what days to do when, what days to come into the office, etc- as long as I get my clients taken care of and get everything documented and inputted into the computer- they really don't seem to care 'how' I organize my hours****this is what's overwhelming because as a new nurse, i don't even know where to start with organizing my week.

Like I said, I'm overwhelmed and don't really know how to schedule my days. The reason that's important is Because I need to let my second job know what my hours/ days will be like with this in-home care job so that we can come up with my schedule for the second job.

So im just not sure how I determine that?

These are my first RN jobs...and I have to call my second job within a day or two to let them know what my schedule is.

I don't know, I'm rambling but I'm having a hard time explaining it :/

Thank you guys :)
