Anyone know anything about the MPH program (11 month) at Johns Hopkins? How competitive it is etc? I know I have alluded to this in other posts but I am one of those annoying pple who like to discuss ideas to the death! :rotfl: Any thoughts? Thanks! t.

Not sure about the 11 month program but I do know that Bloomberg SPH is tops in the nation and very competitve. They have alot of specialities, including mental health, intnl health, epidemiology, etc. One of my good friends graduated from Hopkins and is now in the MPH program and says that it is very intense. Most of her colleagues are MDs ot PhDs which she says is very intimidating. Best of luck in your search..

Thanks for your response...I admit that I am a little intimidated by hopkins but i really liked it because of the way the program had focuses on child and reproductive health as well as epidemiology. (and it's 11 months!). t.
