How long to decide

Hey all,

I have a question. I have a job interview on Feb. 15th. This is for a new grad position. If I am offered the job, how long do you have before you give the hospital an answer. What is the correct protocol? (2 weeks, a weekend?) I have one more interview to do after that one and I want to make sure I give both hospitals a fair look. I do think the hospital that I am interviewing with first is my first choice, but I don't want to totally rule out hospital 2. Thoughts?:uhoh3:

I would just tell them when you have your other interviews, and say that you want to look into all your options before you make a decision. They'll want you to be sure too, so you don't start there and then quit and take one of the other jobs. ;)

I don't think I would mention other interviews. I would just let them know I would get back to them after Feb __ and make it later than the next interview. Hospitals know there is competition for new grads.

So how long do most people take? Do they expect you to think about it for a weekend, or a week? My mom suggested I go in and be ready to give an answer. Do you agree?

As far as I know, you are not expected to give an answer on a spot. Most likely, they will give you 24-48 hours to think.
