I want to thank you all for your suggestions and advice. I just came from a meeting with my Unit Manager and my DON. The upshot was
that the U.M. had spoken to the offending nurse, but that I needed to
speak up the next time this happened, to "set boundaries." And they also noted that "No one gets away with that kind of treatment unless the victim allows it." The behavior was explained as "frustration" due to "communication problems" between shifts.
It's a shame; I liked it there until then. Now, I'm just going out to look for another job. Just in case.
