Eating and bathing

Hey everyone! :)

I've heard this since i was young, and was wondering if there's any truth to it: can you die if you take a bath/shower after eating a meal? Can you somehow be harmed?

Thanks!:clown:

Everyone does it. It does not kill. It is a misconception

I've eaten many times before bathing and each time all I end up with is a light-headed feeling and I stay within the steamy shower for far too long than it gives me serious cramps in my stomach.I haven't died yet though.

I eat then shower EVERY day..as do my children and husband..and on occasion i have been known to bathe my dogs after they have eaten too.

We have all survived. I come from an old Italian family and our family runs rampant with old wives tales and I can honestly say I have never heard of shower/bathing after eating will cause harm to someone. Of course, I was screamed at each and every time I raised my hands/arms above my head while pregnant...'cause ya know, its going to cause the baby to become tangled in the umbilical cord ;)

I don't know, but thanks for all the LAughs!!!!!
