does having a non-violent misdemeanor affect chances at becoming an rn?

i wonder what the cost of having a record sealed/expunged is?

Well, in my case I either had the option of pleading guilty, not guilty (and then having to go to trial and spend time and money trying to fight the charge), or pay a $50 fine, do a little community service and take some class on one Saturday and it was expunged from my record. Needless to say, I took the route to have it expunged. I wasn't going to spend all kinds of time in court defending myself and spending money on legal fees or whatever, even though I was not guilty. I just figured it was better to just get it off my record.
