Dissapointed with scrub quality

I'm really dissapointed in the quality of scrubs that I have bought locally. They just don't hold up. They wear thin in areas way too quickly and many of the seams are just single stiched.

Can anyone recommend companies on the web that sell a better quality scrub?

you might try http://www.scrubsonline.com

It ranks companies, and gives links.

Brandy,

Thanks for the link to http://www.scrubsonline.com

Looks like a great site to find scrubs on the web. Wow, there must be over 50 companies listed there.

You are very much welcome! :)

I just had another thought though...

regardless of what time of scrubs you buy, make sure they are "visa" treated. the stains come out a lot easier if they have visa treatment. I think it is kinda like scotch-guard for scrubs :)

Check out http://www.smartscrubs.com and look at S.C.R.U.B.S. brand. They are all 100% cotton, double stitched, and last a long time. (I have some tops that are 3 years old and still look new!)

Good Luck!

Actually, if you want really high quality scrubs that look good for years, get Barco scrubs. When we opened our new unit 14 years ago, we were to be in navy scrubs. My navy scrubs lasted over 7 years without wearing out (I just EXPANDED out of them!) and my current navy scrubs are Barcos that I have had for over 4 years and they still look new-- no fading, thinning out, fuzzing or fraying. One of my co-workers just bought new Barco scrubs last year to replace her first pairs of navy scrubs she bought when the unit opened 14 years ago (so hers were 13 years old when she finally replaced them!)

I forgot about barco! I have a pair of barco's that I have had for 8 years now, i got them for halloween freshman year of high school, and i still wear them and they look new. The only thing i dont like about them is the pockets are not very big, and it has a front seam down the front of my leg, which reminds me of oldlady nylons :) Besides that they are are great!

My "new" Barco scrubs have no seams down the front, and they have nice big pockets and also cargo pockets on the pants.
