We have gone on laptop for our homecare agency for the last couple years and I am very happy with the results. It reduces paperwork, keeps records safe and confidential, provides easy access to patient charts, holds the current information and past information on all services patient receives, accurate medication information, allows timely physicians orders to be sent and to change nursing orders as needed. Has anyone else gone on laptop in homecare? What has been your experiences? I like the idea of sending my documentation for the day to the office every night. No questions asked of what I did or when I did it. Everything ready to be sent to doctor to sign or to be placed in chart.
