I am considering a night time position in chemical dependency. It seems like it would be a very exciting position to work in. I'm sure there is a lot of factors involved when dealing with this special type of nursing. Has anyone worked in this specialty, and if so, what were your experiences?

I have a friend that works nights in this field. But for the insomniac that can't sleep he says it's dreadfully boring at night.
I have another friend that works in a treatment center, but isn't a nurse, and loves it. He likes talking one-on-one the best.
Good luck!
