Big omission on a resume how to fix

Ok, I applied for a position for a specialty outpatient position. (ortho) I seriously thought listed myortho experience as part of my skills on my resume. After looking at my resume I see now that I only listed that I was part of professional staff RN at this particular hospital and just listed the usual nursing skills, none of which that pertains to the ortho specialty.

I know that generally computers are the ones that pick out certain resumes for buzz words that their looking for regarding the position. Obviously this was a big oops that was omitted and I realized it AFTER I looked at my resume after submitted. I know, I know how stupid but it is what it is.

On the off chance that my resume is still selected out and "if" I got an interview. I would think it would come up in an interview why I didn't have an integral piece like that on my resume. I mean come on, I'm applying for an ortho outpatient and I have ortho experience but I don't have that on a resume???? Maybe I'm already sunk at this point even if I would get called on the interview because to me, it just makes me look ineffiecient as I didn't evne proof my resume before sending On the off chance that I would get called in for an interview, is there anything I could say to rectify why the omission? (I've since added it on my resume so if I went they would have a hard copy, but still...the original doesn't have that info, how do I explain why?)

You would most probably won't get an interview if the keyword skill is not included in your resume.

It's better to send another (your revised) resume.

If your concern comes up in an interview, just be tactful and clever when answering that part and don't ever say the words "forgot", "did not edit" or any something similar like that.
