Applying for new job..need advice

I am currently a RN on a medical-surgical unit and have been working on the floor for 4 years now. I have always wanted to work L&D or Nursery since school. Recently, a Family Birthing job was posted on our website and I applied for it thinking it was for labor and delivery. A few days later I realized it is actually for the nursery--which I would love by the way but I'm worried they may not call me for an interview since I put in my application seeking position as L&D nurse. I'm not sure if I should call Human Resources and talk to them? Or should I e-mail the Director in the Family Birthing Unit? I just don't want them not to call me for an interview because they may think I'm just interested in L&D... What should I do?
