Ambulatory Care Walk-in Clinic Triage

Hello out there,

I am currently working in an outpatient community health center. We see a lot of walk-in patients and have two RN's responsible for the initial triage. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good resource or text for ambulatory care triage? Or a protocol?

Thank you!

In the ambulatory environments in which I have been the risk manager, the Barton-Schmitt triage protocols (triagelogic, cleartriage, stcc-triage, etc.) in electronic or book form have been the overwhelming choice for the call centers, phone triage nurses or clinic triage personnel. They are the gold standard of triage protocols.
