You all have been very helpful in the past, so who better to ask??!I interviewed at a group home two Thursdays ago with the lead nurse and program manager. I felt it went well and sent a thank you note that weekend. The lead nurse called me me last Wednesday and set up a second interview, which was yesterday. It went well and everyone was so welcoming and friendly. They said they were impressed with my first interview. The second interview included the RN supervisor and program director in addition to those I already met with. I do not have any email addresses, but I do have the lead nurse's phone#. It was a fairly informal environment and I was told they would be finishing up more interviews and that a decision would be made by the end of the week.Do you think a second thank-you note would be helpful or overkill? I desperately want the job, but I don't want to come off desperate! What do you think?? Thanks for any help :)

Definitely send the 2nd thank you! It's not overkill since they spent the time to interview you a second time. Gives you a chance to keep your name fresh in their mind, and remind them again of key things you talked about, and how you will be an asset there :). I mean, don't write a novel or anything, but a few sentences won't hurt. Best of luck! A second interview is a very good sign. Hope you hear something soon! The waiting game is the worst.

Although I agree with previous post logic, I wouldn't this time. They obviously called you to the second interview because you were in the "final" pool.

That said, I am not saying you shouldn't, I just think ones enough, and rarer than you think. I just don't see it as a necessity. That said, go with your gut.

I guess if these were new staff you haven't met- I might go for it. But, if it was the same people, I would hold off.
