crohns and diet therapy research paper?

Hi! I am a 1st semester BSN student. My nursing science course requires a research on a particular problem relevant to clinical nursing practice. My father had crohns so I am interested in finding research on diet therapy and crohns. Could anyone tell me of any other particular problems about crohns that relates to nursing.

thank you!
Tina

I have done a google search, but I only saw two researches on nutrition and crohns. I have already done a CINAHL search, but my professor wants us to also use a search engine and a metasearch engine. Anyway.....I already know what I'm searching for. My question was....What other crohns issues are there for nursing practice?

Hey Tina! I typed "Crohn's Disease" into my google browser and TONS of pages with oodles of info about Crohn's popped up. You'll have to actually click on the link and read a little bit before you find the info related to nutritional and dietary implications. Hence the term "research...."

Happy researching!

Thank you Heather! I am already searching for clinical research articles. The only reason why I posted was that I wanted a nursing opinion about OTHER problems that they deal with when they care for crohn's patients. In other words, what other clinical issues have the nurses experienced while working with crohn's patients (besides diet education).

I remember, back in the day, when I rode my dinosaur to the library and did my own brainstorming and research.
