Smile Stethoscope!

Hello! I am going to invest in a decent stethoscope, but I don't know what to get. I have looked at the Littmann lightweight and the Littman Classic. Any suggestions if you have one of these? Or, would you suggest another one? Thanks!

Re: Stethoscope!

Hi Anna,

I just got my Littman Master Classic II and it is incredible. You just barely touch the skin and can hear loud and clear. I am absolutely in love with it. A classmate has the Littman Classic II and it is impressive as well. If you have time to shop around, you can find them on ebay at great prices. My husband is hard of hearing, so he bought an electronic stethoscope off ebay at a much better price than if he'd bought it out right.

Smile Re: Stethoscope!

Hey!!!!
So your husband is Hard of Hearing? no, you meant, "deaf". I am deaf myself, and i have an amplified stets myself too. I speaks so well, no one will notice the impediments. So, tell me, what are his medical interests specifically? Me? I hope to be a surgeon someday
I am now a CNA, but my certificate is about to be expired soon, but ohhhh well.....this is what happens when no one want to hire you...

Re: Stethoscope!

I'd skip the lightweight and go for the Classic II. I just got mine yesterday and I love it. I thought about getting the Cardiology version, but I've been told, by everyone, that they grow legs and wander off!
