UM opportunities for global studies in A-BSN program?

Hey y'all,

I'm wondering if any current/former UM Accelerated BSN students can speak to global studies/research opportunities. Obviously in a one-year, intensive programs there is no time to spend a semester abroad. I see on the website, though, that there do seem to be some sort of programs set up with the school in Chile and Haiti, for example. Has anyone participated?

There's a girl on my facebook who just did their winter break in Chile program.

Hmm, ok. So maybe they are just winter/spring break type-deals, which works with an accelerated program.

Yes, they are between semesters. No complete semesters abroad for the accelerated program.

No, but I met some people on this board last year when I was accepted and ultimately deferred, so I've spoken to them over the past year to see if I should go or not.
