hello everyone. tonight is my first night on here and i am just looking for some ideas and encouragement right now. i am currently attending school to become a nurse but as of right now i am working on my prereqs. i have 3 classes to go and then i can apply to the program. at this time i currently run an in-home daycare and am thinking of giving it up because i want to get my feet in the door at a hospital as a patient care tech. i know i need some type of training for that. can anyone recommend a good school for some type of medical training?? any feed back as to where i should start or go is greatly appreciated

You might have better luck trying this on the Pre-Nursing Forum. That said; good training options for getting a patient care job would be to get your BLS at minimum, you'll need it for nursing school anyway. You could also try taking a CNA or EMT course to enhance your resume, but it can't hurt to put some applications in without it and see what you get.
