Tampa scrub stores

Can anyone help? I'm a new nurse, so I finally get to start wearing non-hideous scrubs. I drove around South Tampa for 45 minutes today looking for a scrub/uniform store, and didn't find one anywhere. Before I waste any more gas, can anyone advise which stores in town have a decent selection? The only place I've been before was for school uniform scrubs on Fowler, and it didn't have many options in my size (I'm extremely tall). I'd order online, but since I still haven't found a brand that actually fits me, I don't want to pay to have a whole bunch shipped to me and then just have to ship them back. I know my way around Tampa and St. Pete, but I'll definitely get lost if I enter the suburbs. If anyone has any advice, I'd really appreciate it! Thanks so much!

Have you tried Uniform City on Kennedy Blvd? If you turn from Dale Mabry Highway onto Kennedy Blvd as if you were headed toward Westshore mall Uniform City is on the right hand side of the road. They are fairly reasonable and have a wide variety.

Found that one online AFTER I got home, didn't want to venture back out in rush hour traffic, especially without a recommendation. I'll try there tomorrow, it's kind of on my way home! Any other suggestions from anyone?

I went to Uniform City, and unfortunately their selection of tall sizes was minimal. They only carried one brand, and only had one pair in a size and style that actually fit. I bought them, since I only have two pairs of scrubs, and then went home and ordered some more online of the same brand/size. I just wish I could find a store where I could at least try a few more on. I'd order another brand online, but I'd like to try on a pair somewhere in real life first - once you pay for shipping in both directions, it doesn't really make sense to send back a $12 pair of pants. I need to know that they fit before I order, and dimensions online aren't always right. Anyone know any other local stores that carry multiple tall brands?

I have the same problem (being too tall.) There is a small shop in St. Pete that I go to that has an entire rack of tall pants sorted in sizes from XS to XL. The shop is pretty small but the huge selection of Tall pants makes it worth the drive. It is called Scrubs N Duds. 2620 4th st North, St. Pete 33704. Good luck!

Scrubs N Dubs on 4th in St. Pete is a good place for talls. The woman who owns it is real nice. You can call her and ask her about specific stuff and she'll tell you if she has it. She also runs a website....tampabayuniforms.com
