Relocating to West Palm Beach Area- Need advise on hospitals

U.S.A. Florida

Published

Hey everyone,

I am currently relocating to the palm beach area (actually residing in boynton beach) from Miami, and needed desperate help regarding the hospitals there... Can anyone recommend a good hospital to work for? I am interested in one that actually cares about its nurses, and provides a safe environment for practice.

Any advice would help, since i am unfamiliar with the area. I have looked into wellington regional, bethesda, st marys, columbia, jfk....

I dont mind traveling north or south of the area, just want to work for a great hospital...

any suggestions would be appreciated!!:)

I am also interested in knowing about West Palm Beach, particularly JFK Hospital. It has been a year and I have been trying to get a travel job in Florida, focusing on Panama City, but so far no bites. Don't know if it is my recruiter or just a God-send that I haven't gone there yet. Is it still a nightmare working for HCA hospitals as I read in some 2007 posts?? I really would like to know what is a better travel local, company to work for in Florida. Am about to give and just apply locally somewhere as I am wanting a move closer to my mother and still have children in the package to consider needs of for stability and a bit of me left over after work! Thanks for any feedback anyone may have.... ~shawn in NC

Did you ever find a good hospital? I have heard good things about St. Mary's but I don't know much about whats south of WPB.
