Is there anyone in the Lindsey technical School?? How is the program there??? Do you like it???

Thank you very much in advance!!!!!:clown:

Hi, i just saw your post and i was also taking the test at the same time. Did you pass the test?

Does anyone have any information on the Mercy program for LPN. Is there really only one test date per year? What kind of test is it, NLN, TEAS, or HESI,TABE or their own test any info would greatly be appreciated.

Hi, since you are in Miama area, I think?..have you heard of Azure College, they are supposed to opening a campass in Sebring which closer to me?

I checked them out. I believe they are not accredited and the counselor was supposed to be checking into something for me and never got back to me. It just felt unorganized to me. I actually finished 3 semesters of a 5 semester acclBSN program out of state 3 years ago, so now I am 100% healthy and looking to start over or at least get advance placement in a LPN program. I am determined to become an RN!

I meant that I checked into Azure College

I checked FDOH website..it said they were..do I need to check

So where ekse

Check this link out. A friend of mine used to be a recruiter for a private university, and explained to me that the most important accreditation as the world of education sees it is regional accreditation. National accreditation is usually sought by institutions whose curriculum differs from the "traditional" school.

Follow the link and click on the state of Florida, and you'll get the list of schools accredited by the SACS, which is one of the 6 big Regional Accreditation bodies, and oversees Florida. These and other regionally accredited schools are much more likely to accept transfer credits from other schools also accredited by SACS.

Please also note that I'm NOT trying to comment on the validity of pursuing a program at a school that isn't on this list. However if you're really thinking about going beyond the LPN or Associate Degree of Nursing level, I believe it's important to consider whether an institution on this list is going to accept credits from an institution not on this list.

thankyou for the information.

Yes, in order to get your License the school has to be approved by FDOH but in order to go on and continue your education if you wanted to go to a university and get a bachelors the school would have to be accredited by one of the commissions. I believe. Otherwise your education is not recognized. This is what I have been told.
