Licensing with criminal hx

U.S.A. Florida

Published

Hi. I am graduating in December and will be applying for boards in the state of Florida. I have a less than stellar criminal record, and am wondering if anyone knows what the process for application will be like for me? I have 3 DUI's (recovered for almost seven years now) and an exposure charge (caught skinny dipping). I think I will be okay with the DUI's because I have documentation of my recovery, and several letters of recommendation, but the exposure charge worries me. It is classified as a misdemeanor, but it is a crime of moral turpitude.

I have called the board, and they said applications are reviewed on a case by case basis.

Thanks in advance for any reply.
