U.S.A. Florida

Hi EVERYBODY of allnurses!

I'm currently a student at Erwin Technical Center, graduating in December, practicing and reading on NCLEX material and answering NCLEX questions everyday. I plan on taking the NCLEX-PN exam right after I graduate.

I've previously attended HCC (Hillsborough Community College), and in order to apply to the nursing program, I only need Micro Lecture and Lab. But, I don't want my associate's degree and HCC offers the associate's degree. I want my bachelor's degree. Then, I can receive my Master's degree right after.

I just don't know where to go from where I am right now. I'm 19 years old and I know I have plenty of years, but I'm just so eager to start my dream as a CRNA (Certified RN Anesthesiologist). I am taking it step by step, but I need to have a plan and a little guidance on what I'll be getting myself into.

I have a few questions first being, has anybody been in my situation? Is there anybody on this site that is in this area of Tampa Bay, FL, can you tell me about your experience becoming a CRNA?

Is it true that after acquiring my AA that I can apply to ANY university of my choice in FL? Anybody who's experienced this?

Anybody who has attended an LPN-to-BSN in the area of Tampa or that knows of any? Preferably PUBLIC over PRIVATE? If you know of a private school, I'd still like to know about it!

I have an appointment with a counselor at HCC to help with my questions about the future and I hope to receive a some guidance from her. But, I would like to hear from anybody knowledgeable and/or experienced ANYTHING with my regards!

THANK YOU SOO MUCH!:cat:
