Question:

I will be starting an LPN program in Indiana this coming January. I will also be taking ADN pre-req's, but since hubby and I would like to move to Florida w/in the next 2 yrs, would most likely have to complete ADN there.

Seems like the law is that you must live in Florida for one year before you can get resident tuition rates. Awful long time and I don't want to lose momentum. I thought there were other posts that mentioned certain hospitals that would be willing to help with the cost of tuition.

We are very nervous about moving as we've lived in the Midwest all our lives, but Florida has always been one of our favorite places! Any information is appreciated. We are both excited to be entering the nursing field.

Yes, there are hospitals in florida that are willing to pay for tuition but you have to be committed the them for the least two years. I am in the process of getting my done. Florida is a very nuce place t be. I am at present in Tampa and will be moving to Tallahassee by January 1. I know i am going to like it in Tallahassee.

I wish you all the best!

Ann.
