February 2014 Florida Hospital Orlando New Grad Residency

Good afternoon everyone!

First and foremost, Congratulations to all those who have been selected for the February new grad cohort for Florida Hospital in Orlando.

My name is Jonathan and I was recently offered a new grad position in the ER department at Florida Hospital - Orlando.

I currently live in Los Angeles, CA and I am having a hard time finding a good place to relocate near the hospital.

The hospital address is 601 E Rollins St, Orlando, FL 32803.

Do any of you know a good place to live near the hospital or is anyone else from out of state that is in the same position that I am?

Hello!..I would like to know how is the residency program at FH? I have applied for the Aug. Program..How much do they pay?..Is the contract start as soon the residency starts or after? Please share any info if you can..Thank you so much for your help!

Hello Jonathan, congrats. Some great places are Dr. Philips, Winter Park and you can also google some places.

I actually lived about 15 minutes from there in Maitland. The prices for town-homes are quite reasonable in lockhart, Maitland, and if you go a few more minutes east Altamonte Springs is good and they have a school district if you have young children.
