Anyone Applying to the May 2017 program? I wanted to get into the January program but I was missing a math class and couldn't complete it in time for the January program.

yes if your going to Keiser you cant just take the lecture by its self its all one class.

I am hoping to get into the may program also. Do you know if you have to take the lab with the anatomy lecture class at Keiser? I just want to take the lecture class...

hello, i dont know if this is certain but my friend just finished retaking her class in keiser and she spoke to a nursing adviser in broward and they said they're thinking of discontinuing letting students retake at keiser. if anyone knows please let me know i retake in march and i don't want to waste my money.

im kind of freaking out because this is the only way to raise my GPA so if anyone knows whats going on please let me know.

I would suggest to go in person and speak with an adviser...

I think if that was something they were "thinking" about doing it probably wouldn't affect May term being that the deadline is next month. I could be wrong. Sheylla are you applying for May term? If your retaking a class you will be taking it after the deadline date so It wouldn't be able to improve your gpa if you got a better grade at Keiser.

unfortunately i couldn't get the money for the class to make the may deadline so i'll be applying for august. I was wondering if these rumors were true because i definitely don't want to waste my money if they decide to discontinue that

thanks for your response :)

I am a current student in the nursing program at BC. I'm in GIGU. The admission selection process seemed a little arcane to me when I was an applicant, but I believe the prereq GPA is what really matters. If you have a 3.0 and above you will quite likely get in. Students with less than a 3.0 still get in but it's just not as likely. HESI score doesn't really matter as long as you pass (but it might be used to break a tie or something if your GPA is on the lower end).

hello how are you? I see that your a current student in the program. If your able to, could you give us future nursing students some insight on the program. What to expect, how was it when you first started, any studying tips etc. I know a lot of us are nervous being that we will be starting in a shorter term. As for gpa from my experience these last two terms students with 3.0 gpa was barely making it in. Nicole stated that recently its been really competitive compared to other terms in prior years. I had the opportunity to retake a class to get my gpa higher. I applied for January term with a 3.0 and didn't get in.
